Acting on behalf of private investors, Thompson Yates negotiated the purchase of the former Billingsgate Fish Market (converted to bank offices and trading floors in 1987), for use as an events and conference centre.

The building is now probably the premiere events venue in the City of London, hosting many high profile events every year.
